Hello my name is Angel and I am a special kitten, I am sure that you can’t see from my photos what is wrong with me, but let me tell you a little bit about me. I have what people call Wobbly Cat Syndrome, or its proper name, which is cerebellar hypoplasia. It is a congenital condition in cats that is not contagious nor progressive. It affects the cerebellum of the kittens, which is the area of the brain that controls fine motor movement, balance, and coordination normally while the kitten is in the womb. Affected cats often have noticeable symptoms from birth which is when it was noticed on me, and these range from mild signs of head bobbing and high stepping to more severe signs like tremors and the inability to walk. Mine is a mild case, so it looks like I am always bobbing my head to music.

Now does this slow me down at all??? Ummmmmmmmm…. NOOOO way. I am full of energy and love to play. I am a fun little kitten with a side of spunk, and I love to climb to the very top of any cat tower and watch over my kingdom. I am an energetic kitten, and I am always on the go so I will need another cat or kitten to play with. Everything I do is at full speed and with a slight wobble, but you cannot slow me down.

I will need another cat or kitten in the house that loves to play to help keep me entertained. I love the other foster kittens that are in the house, and I run around chasing them and following them around the house, and when I get tired, I will snuggle up on my foster mummies bed and sleep the afternoons away. But don’t make any sudden movements in the room as I do have a major case of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) and if I hear a noise I will want to be a part of whatever it is. I will go from dead asleep to zooming around the house in less than a blink of the eye. But don’t you worry I am a little chatterbox and I will let you know, where I am and what I have been up to at all times.

If you think I am the special kitten that you need in your life, please contact my foster carer.

All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
