Goose
Hello, my name is Goose and I am a happy little kitten. I was found on a front porch with my 2 brothers in Ferny Hills at about 3 days old. The people who found us waited and waited for our mother to come back but she never did. Luckily, I was able to find my way via social media to be transported from Ferny Hills to my foster carer in Sunnybank. I was bottle-fed and raised with lots of love, because of that, I think humans are the best thing ever!
I am quite the little purr machine. Once I start purring, it’s a cute little rumble and nonstop, letting everyone know I’m a happy cat. Sometimes I even forget that I’m purring, and it’ll go on until I drift off to sleep. My purr is so strong, you can actually feel it vibrating when I’m leaning against your arm or curled up on your lap!
I need to let you know that I am a competitive baker, and in this foster house it definitely is a competition. I am a good little kneader and no matter where I am I will hone my skills, it could be on the foster carers lap, on the pile of unfolded washing, on the couch, or definitely while I am at the vet. The kneading must happen!
I am a little bit uncoordinated, as a cat you would expect me to land on my paws but unfortunately that is not always the case for me. The main times I miss a jump is when my foster carer is on the couch and I am on the floor and I expect her to catch me to bring me on the couch with her, but she is not always ready for my surprise jump.
Another thing you should know is that my foster mum has taught me that I love head kisses. When I feel the need for some affection, I’ll bump my head against hers until I get the kisses, I believe, I deserve. Sometimes it’s just one, but other times I might demand ten, depending on my mood!
I’m super playful, and my foster mom is always laughing at how dedicated I am to playing with toys. I can hear my favourite toy from the other end of the house and I will gallop down the hallway at full pace to make sure that I do not miss out on a single second of playtime. My favourite toy at the moment is a race track looking toy that I get to bat the ball around.
I have some slight medical issues that will be discussed when you enquire about me.
I am a Boy Kitten.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
