Lacey is a beautiful cat who’s found a new lease on life through Little Paws. Lacey unfortunately had a very rough start in life. But despite her traumatic early years she still enjoys human company. When she is used to you and has established a safe space, she enjoys sitting and watching you, rolling around, and receiving pats in her safe space. She has never hissed at her foster humans, but will be as slippery as an eel if you try to hold on to her for too long. She is usually very quiet, however she will quietly meow at you in the evenings when its dinner time. She enjoys playing with toys in her safe space. When she is happy, she will purr and knead whatever surface she is on, which makes he look like she’s dancing! However because of her rocky start in life, she is quite a shy cat, and will require a lot of consistent patience and kindness to help her settle. When she is frightened, she will try to make herself as small as possible, and will find the best hiding spots in the house. Lacey will need a quiet household with understanding carers, who will support her to feel safe and become comfortable in her own time. When she is in this safe space, you will be rewarded with this very soft, affectionate little character who you’ll want to give pats to forever.
All Little Paws kitties come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, micro chipped, wormed, flea treated and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws kitties are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way, for their safety and health and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a kitty goes to. We match kitties to their new family; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising kitties in their own home, we would appreciate a call if you cannot make an appointment.
