Lilly
Meet Lilly — the brave little tabby girl with a big story and an even bigger heart. Lilly came into care after living an unloving life while raising her kittens. Once her babies found their forever homes, we discovered she had been quietly coping with a luxating patella — a painful knee issue that made every step difficult. Thanks to Little Paws and some very skilled vets, Lilly received major surgery to fix her knee, and after a wonderful recovery she is now ready to begin the next, happiest chapter of her life.
These days Lilly is enjoying her newfound freedom, racing around pain-free and rediscovering the joy of simply being a cat. Her back legs may look a little quirky when she walks or runs, but she certainly doesn’t let that stop her. She’s playful, full of character, and absolutely soaking up the chance to explore, zoom, and have fun.
Lilly is hoping for an experienced owner who understands her spirited personality. She can get a bit overstimulated during play and may give a cheeky nip — think of it as her enthusiastic way of joining in! Because of this, Lilly is not suitable for a home with young children, but she will flourish with a confident, calm adult who can gently guide her and set boundaries. We believe her occasional mouthy moments are simply her way of asking for interaction and attention, something she missed out on earlier in life.
What Lilly loves most? Playtime, pats, purring…and food. This girl is a total foodie and will happily eat anything you offer her! She’s a purring machine, a natural entertainer, and full of affection once she feels secure.
Lilly truly deserves her second chance. She’s ready to share her life with someone who sees past her rough beginnings and appreciates the sweet, lively, and loving girl she is. Could you be the patient, caring human she’s been waiting for?
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
