Roma
Meet Roma – A Sweet Girl Looking for a Fresh Start
Roma has had a tough start in life. She was found alone and pregnant on the streets of Roma, a country town where survival isn’t easy for a stray cat. Little Paws was contacted and we worked with the rescuer to get her from Roma to Brisbane a massive 5 ½ hour drive for the scared heavily pregnant Roma.
When Roma arrived at Little Paws, she was understandably wary of new people. But as she raised her kittens - who had no fear of humans - she began to see that some people could be trusted. Once her babies found their forever homes, it was her turn to learn that she, too, was safe. With time, patience, and plenty of love from her foster carer, Roma has slowly come out of her shell and is learning to trust completely.
Roma is a quiet, gentle girl who would thrive in a calm and loving home. She’s best suited to an indoor-only lifestyle, where she can feel safe and secure. After everything she’s been through, she deserves a home where she’ll be cherished and cared for.
This little beauty absolutely loves full-body pats - she leans into them, gazing up at you with big, grateful eyes, soaking up every bit of affection. She’s also learned one of the best things about having a human: food arrives regularly! Once a skinny stray, she’s now happily embracing her new, chonky life.
But the best part? Her adorable little stumpy tail! That’s right - she’s a Manx, and when she’s getting those much-loved pats, her tiny tail wags with pure joy.
How can you say no to this beautiful lady, are you the family to give Roma her happily ever after?
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
