"Meet Tiger: A Sweet Boy Looking for His Forever Home”
Tiger is a 7yo neutered male domestic medium hair tabby who has been a patient of Carindale Vet Surgery since he was a kitten. Having always been in good health we only saw him a couple times a year for his annual vaccinations and groom. During his last groom an injury to his tail was found. The tip of the tail had gotten caught in something, causing a degloving injury that went unnoticed due to his normally thick coat. Normally for this kind of injury amputation of the damaged area is recommended however, due to financial constraints, the owner chose to manage with pain relief and antibiotics at home. When they could no longer manage his care they decided to have him euthanised.
Because of Tiger's beautiful nature and otherwise excellent health, we had Tiger surrendered into our care and we are committed to giving him the care he needs, including a tail amputation to ensure he can heal comfortably and live pain‑free. Once he’s recovered, this brave boy will be ready to start fresh with a family who will cherish him for the sweet, resilient companion he is.
Tiger has been through a lot in a short period of time so understandably he takes some time to feel comfortable in a new environment and with new people. But once he feels safe with you, all he asks is that you give him infinite smooches and head boops.
He was an only-child in his previous home so his ideal match would be a calm and loving single-cat household where he can receive the attention and care that he deserves. If you're looking for a gentle, sweet companion (currently rocking a fabulous haircut) who will bring nothing but love and affection into your life, Tiger is ready to meet you. "
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
