Ultra

Meet Ultra, and yes, we think his name is extremely appropriate. Ultra arrived into Little Paws Kitten Rescue through no fault of his own after his much-loved owner sadly had to return to her home country and was unable to bring him with her. He had been incredibly well loved and beautifully groomed, so moving from a home where he was the centre of attention into a cattery has been quite an adjustment. To put it simply, Ultra has decided that communal living is not really his thing and would much rather be back in a home where the attention is focused firmly on him.
 
And honestly, once you see Ultra, you will understand why. This boy has the most incredible black smoke Persian coat, and fluffy doesn’t even begin to describe it. His tail is particularly spectacular and is so wonderfully fluffy that when he swishes it around, it looks like it is moving in slow motion. Ultra doesn’t simply walk into a room - he arrives with his own personal cloud of fabulous fur.
 
Then there are his eyes. Ultra has enormous orange eyes that are so vibrant they almost look like someone has turned up the saturation a little too far. They are impossible to miss and give him a wonderfully striking appearance against all that dark, luxurious fur.
 
Despite being a mature gentleman, Ultra still has a playful streak. He particularly enjoys a feather wand and will happily sit and watch it, stalk it and then launch an attack when he decides the timing is right. He may not be tearing around the house like a kitten, but he certainly hasn’t retired from the important business of playing.
 
He is a bit of a mummy’s boy and seems to be particularly partial to the ladies. Give him some long, gentle pats and attention, and you will quickly discover that underneath all that impressive fur is a boy who simply wants to feel safe, loved and special again. Ultra would prefer to be the only cat in the household so he doesn’t have to share his humans or compete for attention. 
 
He may be Ultra fluffy, Ultra handsome and Ultra fabulous, but what he really wants is something much simpler: his own person, his own home and someone who thinks he is worth all the fuss.
 
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
